Explore New York: Studio Museum of Harlem [Registration Required]

Join Explore New York...Explore the World for a tour of one of the city's most unique museums. A guided tour of the museum's exhibit, Things in Themselves, from the Artist-in-Residence program. This program is at the core of the Studio Museum's mission, and gives the institution its name. More than 100 artists in residence have created and shown work in the museum's studios and galleries and alumni of the program are some of the most renowned artists working today. The exhibit features the works of four artists including video, portraiture and large-scale abstract collage. Sign up here.

LGBTQ & Ally International Students Brunch

Enjoy breakfast and discussion to learn about the resources NYU has to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally (LGBTQA) international students. Part of the brunch will be dedicated to brainstorming more globally-themed programs through the NYU LGBTQ Student Center. If you are looking for an outlet of ongoing support to discuss how it is similar or different to be LGBTQA in New York City than in your country of origin, this is the brunch for you! Each year, NYU students spend their winter or spring break traveling to various communities around the country and the world to work with organizations that are addressing a variety of social issues. Global U: Study Abroad at NYU

At this general presentation, representatives from NYU Global Programs will provide you with details about NYU's Global Academic Centers in Abu Dhabi, Accra, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Shanghai, Sydney, Tel Aviv, and Washington DC as well as a brief overview of summer study abroad programs, exchanges, and school-specific study abroad programs.

What happens when home is everywhere and nowhere at the same time? This film highlights the narrative of Third Culture Kids and their experience growing up in and navigating multiple cultures. Come for a film screening of "Neither Here nor There" and a post-screening discussion. Light refreshments will be served.

Biking in the Big Apple: NYU Bike Share Safety Training

Curious about bicycling in New York City? Biking can be a safe, healthy, sustainable, and fun way to get around Manhattan and the boroughs. But getting a bike can be an expensive and intimidating proposition. The NYU Bike Share offers you, NYU students, faculty, and staff, the opportunity to borrow a bike FREE of charge from any of our eight participating locations throughout campus. Whether you are a first time rider or an experienced cyclist we make sure that you get all of your safety questions answered, and enable you to take the city on by pedal.
