Resources to Address Anti-Muslim Sentiment and Harrassment in NYC
 
In light of an increase in anti-Muslim sentiment and harassment in NYC and around the country, the Islamic Center is currently working with NYU Public Safety to make sure that our Muslim community feels safe and supported.
To help facilitate, we need your help in a few ways:

10:00am to 1:15pm - Concurrent live student presentations (open to all symposium attendees)

10:00am to 12:30pm - Posters and video presentations on display (open to all symposium attendees)

1:15pm to 2:30pm - Keynote address, luncheon, and closing ceremony (invitation only)

Join R.I.S.E., O.G.S. (Office of Global Services), and other NYU students for a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. We will have turkey, cooked ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, gravy, pies, and much more. You are welcome to bring a friend but must RSVP for this event as we need to know how much food to order.

CAS International Student Coffee Hour: Visit to Grey Art Gallery

We will take a 45-minute, docent-led tour of the exciting exhibit, For A New World to Come: Experiments in Japanese Art and Photography, 1968-1979, which is being put on in conjunction with the Japan Society, another wonderful NYC cultural resource. Japan’s artistic traditions are rich, varied and innovative.
