International Coffee Hour: Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day

This week the CAS International Coffee Hour fell on February 14th, Valentine's Day, as well as in the midst of the Lunar New Year. In honor of these holidays and the global nature of our student community, the International Student Club (ISC) kindly provided a variety of treats and decorations connected to the holidays. Students got to enjoy cookies, sweets, and tea from different areas of China and Taiwan, snack on some chocolates, and chat with each other about the rituals and meanings behind their own cultural traditions.

Thanks to the ISC for their amazing work on this celebration, and we look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday, February 21st, when the Office for Global Services and the Wasserman Center join us to give incredibly useful information and answer any questions.

Note: Even if you currently are not looking for an internship or job, you are welcome to join us to say hello, have a snack, and share your own knowledge with the group.
