Community Visit: Celebrating Diversity with Brooklyn Families
Friday, March 20 – Saturday, March 21, 2015

Deadline to register is Wednesday, March 11th – TOMORROW!

Join a local middle school as they celebrate International Day through the lens of "Diversity through Unity." This visit includes an overnight stay with a student's family on Friday night, and a day-long international fair on Saturday that will include performances from local dance troupes, a jazz band, drummers, and much more! After the cultural presentations, you will enjoy an international food fair with small roundtable discussions about your country and culture with local students and their families. This is a unique opportunity to connect with American middle school students and learn about the diversity of the Bushwick community!

U.S. Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference
Sunday, April 12 – Thursday, April 16, 2015

Deadline to apply is Monday, March 16th

The 55th Annual U.S. Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference is themed: "Sustainability and Sovereignty: Global Security in a Resource Strained World."

Represent your country and share your views on world affairs as part of a select delegation of international students. Discuss and debate U.S. foreign policy with American college students and foreign affairs professionals from around the country. This is a unique opportunity to network in the field and get an inside look at the U.S. Naval Academy. 

There will be a mandatory orientation meeting on Monday, April 6th.
