F-1 Optional Practical Training Workshop (Post-Completion Only)

Date: Tuesday, October 4

Time: 2:30pm-4:00pm

Location: Kimmel Center, Room 903

Best for F-1 students graduating by January 2017 or May 2017. An NYU Office of Global Services international student adviser will explain the rules of Optional Practical Training (OPT) after you complete all of your degree requirements. This is called Post Completion OPT or “Post OPT”. Learn about how to apply, the best timeline for you, the documents needed, and your reporting responsibilities once you start OPT. Seating is limited to 30. Priority will go to students who RSVP and arrive on time. Students on waitlist will be admitted next. Register for this event here.
