F-1 Optional Practical Training Workshop (Post-Completion Only)

F-1 students: Find out how and when to apply for your work option after graduation

RSVP is required.
 
An NYU Office of Global Services international student adviser will explain the rules of Optional Practical Training (OPT) after you complete all of your degree requirements. This is called Post Completion OPT or “Post OPT.” Learn about how to apply, the best timeline for you, the documents needed, and your reporting responsibilities once you start OPT.  Application materials will be provided.
 
This workshop is best for students completing their last semester before September 2016. 



U.S. Work Options after Optional Practical Training or Academic Training
January 31 2:30pm - 4:30pm EST Kimmel Center for University Life, Room 405/406


This lawyer session is designed for international students who want to know about common visa options for working in the U.S. RSVP required

Learn from the experts! Immigration lawyers from the  Law Offices of Eugene Goldstein & Associates will come to discuss the most common visa categories such as H-1B, O-1, EB-5, TN, and Permanent Residency.

You are not required to bring any immigration documents. There will be a question and answer period at the end.

RSVP is required. The RSVP will be used for reminder and cancellation purposes only.
