NYU - DC!

national monument and cherry blossoms

NYU Washington, DC is one of the newest away sites within the Global Network University. Our multi-use building is brand new and LEED certified with state-of-the-art classrooms, student residences, event space, and administrative offices. Our academic program offers coursework for a range of interests including Politics, Journalism and History majors. NYU Washington, DC supports students in procuring competitive internships with governmental and non-governmental agencies including the various national embassies, the White House and Senate Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Hill newspaper, and the Phillips Gallery.

Our student life team organizes exciting excursions and events that highlight the richness of the international and distinctly American culture of this unique city. Previous events include outings to museums (the Museum of Women in the Arts), neighborhood tours (U-Street area and Georgetown), and Gospel Brunch. NYU Washington DC has also launched a successful Alumni Mentoring Program and a partnership with the Global Language Network (non-credit language courses similar to Speaking Freely). For information on our exciting public events (including a recent luncheon with Martin Scorsese!), you can follow our Facebook page.
