September 9- Welcome to CAS: learn about the college, ask questions, and
meet your peers & the ISC

September 16- Student Panel- Community Service. Hear from your peers about how to get involved on campus and in the greater New York community. Sara Chen will speak about the NYU Civics Team, Rena Qian will discuss starting a club on campus and the club she helped cofound (Volunteer Musicians and Dancers) and the ISC will discuss upcoming club-led community service initiatives. Resources from the Office of Civic Engagement will be provided.

September 22- Museum Visit: We will provide an introduction to the city’s top Museums. We will follow this up with a visit Friday, September 23 for a guided tour of the Rubin Museum. Group size limited to 25.

September 29- Career Center & OISS: Interested in working or interning in
the U.S. or developing an American C.V.? Learn all about resumes, interview techniques, how to find jobs and internships, and work permit information concerning visas with Cristy St. John  from the Wasserman Career Center and Jackie Chin from OISS (Office for International Students and Scholars)

October 6- ISC open meeting

October 13- Learning Center & Writing Center: The Assistant Director of
the Learning Center, Tyrell Davis, will present on the many resources available on campus for ensuring academic success. Bill Morgan from the Writing Center will also present on the tools available to students to help improve academic and creative writing.

October 20- Dean Kate Baxter & First Year Programs

October 27- StressBusters: Join coffee hour with stressbusters for tips on how to relax during the stressful midterm period. We will discuss free resources through the NYU Health Center and trained volunteers will give free 5 minute massages!
November 3- Registration Q & A:  With registration approaching, Anne, Lauren, and Lauren will workshop schedules and answer questions about current and upcoming courses.

November 24- Thanksgiving break

December 1- Grey Art Gallery: Docent led tour of the current exhibit,
Fluxus and the Essential Questions of Life featuring an international network of artists, composers, and designers that developed in the 1960s: http://www.nyu.edu/greyart/exhibits/fluxus/index.html

December 8- Final Coffee Hour Party & Graduation Celebration
