Join the ULC’s team of bright and engaged students and become part of a close community of learners and leaders!  The University Learning Center is staffed entirely by undergraduates, bringing free peer tutoring to anyone enrolled in the NYU courses we support.  With extensive hours and a variety of services all led by you, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on others while building your skills and thinking creatively.  Student success is our mission.  Join us to help yourself and others Study Smart!

One to World Twilight Cruise



 
Join One to World on its annual Twilight Cruise around Manhattan on April 29. Celebrate the end of the semester by dancing on the ship deck with a live DJ and 600 international students. Normally these tickets are priced $35, but you can purchase it for $20 at the OGS Front Desk (cash only), where limited tickets are sold till April 8.

CMEP INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD


Apply to be part of the 2016-2017 International Student Advisory Board!

NYU Center for Multicultural Education and Programs and NYU Office of Global Services invites you to apply to the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB)! This new board aims to further intercultural understanding, raise awareness and enhance dialogue around international student concerns. ISAB will actively develop new initiatives that will provide opportunities for international student leadership and increase the visibility of NYU’s international student population.

Students will work collectively to develop student-oriented programming, enhance their leadership skills and  serve as ambassadors for the international student community.

F-1 Students and Unpaid Internships
If you will be participating in an Unpaid Internship, you must read the updated immigration information on the website of the Office of Global Services [OGS]. This information is very important. If you have any questions about this new information, please go to the OGS Walk In Hours  and discuss with an Advisor. F-1 Students: Collect your new design I-20 form
Recently, the OGS sent an email only to certain F-1 students. This email informed these students to go to the OGS to collect a new design I-20 form. If you received this email and have not yet collected your new I-20 at the OGS, please do so by April 8th. Please read the email sent to you from the OGS for details.


F-1 & J-1: I-901 [SEVIS] fee payment
As the U.S. Customs & Border Protection [CBP] is checking to see if F-1/J-1 students have paid their SEVIS fee, it is important for each student to ensure that they have. You should check your payment at https://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901. If you have not yet paid the SEVIS fee, please do so immediately. All students should print out proof of payment and carry it with your I-20 or DS-2019 form. If you have any questions, please speak to an advisor at the OGS Walk In Hours.
