If you are an F-1 international student and NOT graduating in May 2017, you may be interested in learning about the immigration requirements and application process for F-1 off-campus work permission which includes the F-1 Curricular Practical Training [CPT] and F-1 Pre-Completion Optional Practical Training [PreOpt]. This is not only for students who wish to work in Summer 2017, but also for Fall 2017 and beyond. Click here to register.

F-1 Work Options Before Graduation (CPT and Pre-OPT)
Date: Monday, March 6
Time: 12:30pm-2:30pm
Location: Kimmel Center, Room 406
How do I work off-campus before graduation? Can I do an internship for pay or academic credit? An NYU Office of Global Services international student advisor will explain the difference between the two most common types of employment for F-1 students. Learn about how to apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Pre-Completion Optional Practical Training (Pre-OPT). Application materials will be provided. Find out more here.
