I Feel the Stress

With the sun coming out, things may feel more calm and your fingers are thawing. But you may also have that little voice reminding you about your homework, your summer plans, and your finals. While you can use the University Learning Center for academic and time management support, don't forget to take care of yourself.

NYU has an abundance of opportunities and resources to take advantage of, from the comfort of your own home (or the library...depending on how much work you have to do).

The Relaxation Oasis

  • The Calming Corner: MP3s to help you take a moment to breathe and relax
  • The Yoga Room:Yoga is known to reduce stress, but you don't have to enroll in a class. Here are a few sequences you can do on your own.
  • Ask the Stresspert: Some tidbits of information from the Mindfulness Team at NYU
  • Mindfulness Resources: Additional resources for learning about and practicing mindfulness techniques in the area.
