Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore


A joint collaboration between two educational powerhouses, Duke University and the National University of Singapore, Duke-NUS is committed to developing future leaders in medicine. The 4-year graduate medical program is based on an innovative and highly rigorous curriculum, patterned after that of the Duke University School of Medicine. The MD degree awarded to graduates is a joint degree by Duke University and NUS, with the distinctive aim of developing researchers and practitioners who are exceptionally skilled in medical research and patient care.

Students are taught the fundamentals of medicine, research and patient care, and how to become lifelong learners. Duke-NUS hope to have graduates that become future leaders who will aim to improve the practice of medicine.

Duke-NUS Medical Education Information Session

Information Sessions Sign-Up

Friday, April 5, 2013 | 12:00-1:30 pm | Silver Center 907

The Preprofessional Advising Center will be sponsoring an informational session to showcase the graduate medical education opportunities available at Duke-NUS. Duke-NUS is a unique collaboration between Duke University and the National University of Singapore (NUS), offering Duke University School of Medicine's curriculum in conjunction with a team-based learning approach called TeamLEAD. The school welcomes highly qualified students from all nationalities who are interested in pursuing careers in medical research (MD-PhD) and clinical medicine (MD). The session will be facilitated by Dr. Sandy Cook, Duke-NUS' Senior Associate Dean for Curriculum.

Students can RSVP online to reserve their seat. Space is limited. Lunch will be provided.
