about NYU, to staying safe and navigating public transportation. These events

NYU Welcome Day / Move-In Day
Sunday, August 28, 2016 is NYU Welcome Day. This day
complements Residence Hall Move-In with a Parent Welcome and Information

Presidential Welcome & Reality Show
Join President Andy Hamilton, fellow new
undergraduate students, alumni, and university officials at the Presidential
Welcome of the newest class. Immediately following will be The Reality Show:
NYU -- a gritty, funny musical about the lives of NYU students as they
experience an array of confounding, confusing, and exciting issues. The Reality
Show: NYU is written, performed, and produced by NYU students.
NYU Portraits
NYU Portraits creates a vibrant and colorful
evening where diversity meets the stage to invigorate our passion for social
justice, and service through the arts. This event is a campus tradition that
utilizes an innovative approach to highlighting the importance of diversity as
an enriching and transformative experience for our incoming first year and
transfer students.
The "..." Ball
A Welcome Week tradition... wrapping up the
week with the Ball! Each year is unique with a new theme. Past themes include
Beach Ball, Zombie Ball, Glo Ball, Throwback Ball, and Music Festi-Ball! Get
ready to dance the night away at this multi-floor, multi-DJ event. This will
definitely be a night to remember. The 2016 theme is... good vibes ball so get
ready to celebrate endless summer.
