The focus of this workshop will be how to successfully build your brand and professional network. You will walk away with a draft positioning statement and a networking action plan that will put you on the right path to landing your dream job!
In the afternoon, the workshop will continue with Get Noticed – Outstanding Resumes & Cover Letters. Learn how to make your resume and cover letter stand out from the crowd in today's extremely competitive U.S. job market. Over the course of 3 hours, our professional consultants will discuss:
- best approaches to resume writing
- practical components of a resume
- formatting techniques for resumes & cover letters
- getting noticed in today's job market
- navigating online applications
- staying motivated during the job/internship search
