All new NYU international students must attend a mandatory
check-in workshop with the Office of Global Services as soon as possible once you arrive to
the United States.
This is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security
(DHS) for F-1 and J-1 students, thus failure to attend a check-in
workshop may jeopardize your ability to remain legally in the U.S. When
workshops are scheduled, they will appear on the right-hand side of this
page where you will then be able to sign-up for your preferred
session.
Special note: J-1 students sponsored by other organizations (such as Fulbright) and dependents of F-1 and J-1 NYU students do not need to attend.
