CAS Collegiate Club Fair

Looking to get more involved within the College and NYU?

CAS Student Council is proud to present our annual "CAS Collegiate Club Fair" - where you can get the chance to explore
all of the academic, professional and recreational organizations and opportunities that CAS has to offer!
 
- Where: Hemmerdinger Hall, Silver Center
- When: February, 22nd, 2012 at 11:30am - 3:30 pm

The Fair would be attended by over 35 organizations that are affiliated with more than 15 Arts & Science academic departments. 
Among the list of our distinguished CAS student organizations, the fair would be also be attended by:

- NYU LGBTQ Student Center
- Center for Multicultural Education and Programs
- NYU Study Abroad
- Student Health Center

This presentation will highlight ways to present your international student experiences as a strength and asset to prospective employers.  A complimentary lunch will be served.

Communicating Effectively Through Your Job Search
Wednesday, February 15, 5 - 6:30pm
In today’s job market, the competition is stiff.  There is a hidden world of job searching.  This seminar will focus on strategies of how to tap into the positions and how to develop more professional contacts.

Getting the Job: Job Search Techniques and Interview Skills that Work
Thursday, February 16, 12:30 - 2pm
Learn about the power of networking and meeting the right people in your field. Then learn about interview preparation, proper attire, and appropriate responses to difficult questions. A complimentary lunch will be served.

Join the AMC Naughty Knitters and Crafty Crocheters for a lunchtime workshop creating scarves and hats for local seniors. Professionals will be onsite to assist beginners. No experience necessary! Materials will be provided!

One-to-World events

One-to-World was founded in 1977 to encourage cultural exchange in New York City. They coordinate numerous events all year long to facilitate cultural understanding and organize community service and educational activities for Americans and international students.
