Two Funded Fellowships! Available for ALL NYU STUDENTS!
New York University is one of eight universities to offer the Dalai Lama Fellowship, an international program of the Dalai Lama Center.
One fellow will be chosen from each university to receive up to $10,000 toward a year-long project of his of her design in one of four focus areas:
1. diminishing violence;
2. mitigating income and wealth inequities;
3. encouraging cross-cultural and inter-religious communications and understanding;
4. promoting environmental sustainability.

The Wasserman Center for Career Development is currently collecting applications for the Funded Internship Award for the Spring of 2012. This $1,000 scholarship affords students the opportunity to participate in unpaid internships at non-profits, international organizations, arts institutions, and other industries that traditionally do not pay their interns.
Who is Eligible?

Current matriculating, degree-seeking students with at least a 3.0 GPA
Students who have already secured an unpaid internship at a not-for-profit
organization OR within an industry that does not traditionally pay interns
Individuals who work a minimum of 7 hours per week over at least 10 weeks and
demonstrate financial need.
How Do Students Apply?
Visit www.nyu.edu/ careerdevelopment and log in to their NYU CareerNet account
Under the Jobs tab, enter Job ID #840998 into the Keyword section
Submit the Application Form, Supervisor Authorization Form, and Resume (forms are attached to opportunity in NYU CareerNet)
